My sister has a good old memory with Kyuu Tanaka Tei (Old Tanaka mansion house). More than 30 years ago when she was making a sketch of Tanaka tei, an old lady talked to her and said that “I was born in this house and I want you to make a good sketch of this mansion”. Saying this the old lady gave her a hand made Miso. My sister really liked western-style houses and had set Tanaka tei as a drawing assignment of her school.
Disappointedly her sketch was not so good as real Tanaka Tei, and she couldn’t say thank you after the sketch for giving her the miso.
