Hello World!!
This post is my first post on my blog. I am happy with it.
In this difficult conditions all over the world because of corona virus, I think many people are agonizing, but if you have a free time please enjoy the movie below.
A Japanese comedy movie called “Fly Me to the Saitama” made a smash hit last year. The story is so fun and exciting. By degrading Saitama prefecture(no offense meant), this movie depicts how Saitama is treated among Tokyo, Kanagawa, Chiba, Ibaraki, and Gunma. This movie is so fun by the way Saitama people are depicted by the unique expression.
This movie was coined from these facts.
A true story of “Fly me to the Saitama”
(Below is the true story of Saitama. Because I was in an age of puberty, the expression is a bit cloying. Please take it into consideration.)
For decades, people in Saitama prefecture in Japan have been looked down upon, because Saitama is next to the Tokyo metropolia, like the relationship between New York City and New Jersey, though it doesn’t have any fascinating sightseeing spots or cool landmarks.
Actually, when I was in junior high school, the song called “Nazeka Saitama(It means “I coincidently in Saitama”) was released. This song came with Saitama’s unstylish images. At that time, I was so ashamed to be one of the Saitama people, and the media all the time discriminated joke fully Saitama people. And more and more, I felt blue.
When I sometimes went to Tokyo, I felt humiliated by the Tokyo people. Now that I am matured, I understand that Tokyo is the place where various people gathered from all the prefectures in Japan, so most of the Tokyo people are, in a way, rural fellows.
I could not recognize this fact at that time.
I watched this movie.
The impression is “shuddering with humiliation”.
Because I was born in Saitama, and I was raised in Saitama.
Yes sure, this comedy breaks up all the audience and me…, but my pride as native Saitama people never let me enjoy this movie wholeheartedly.
But if you can access this movie on line, please enjoy and discriminate my home country! (joking)
